Kevin Murphy’s Powdery Hair Wonder
Australian hair stylist Kevin Murphy shares his secret for keeping up with the colored hair-trends without committing yourself to crazy, unappealing roots as your pink, blue, or bright green starts to fade. His secret? Colored powder or eyeshadow. Inspiration? The Indian festival Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, where colored powder is used in a ritual to welcome the spring. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Also, it looks really really cool.

Haircut at Bumble and Bumble
Sorry I haven’t posted anything new in a long time guys! My friend from out of town is here and I’ve been really busy having fun with her, showing her around town.
One thing I did do is get a free haircut at Bumble and Bumble! Woo! My new haircut is 70s inspired and my hairdresser said that she was referencing Linda Ronstadt. I don’t know if that is good or not but here it is!

Anyway, I also got a free product because I was there the day before and my hairdresser got sick. This is what I got for free!
They always use this product on my hair and it makes it so smooth when I blow dry it out. It’s amazing.
To get the curly, tossed look that they achieved yesterday at the salon (seen in picture above), Erin, my hairdresser, used B&B’s new product, the B&B (Un)dressing Cream.
It left my hair super textured, although it did feel kinda crinkly as if I was wearing gel. I think this is an awesome product if you want to get that sex hair, out of bed looking perfectly messy-kinda look!
Alexander Wang’s Ad-less Ad Campaign
What perhaps is more confusing than the fact that Alexander Wang doesn’t call his ad an “ad” is the fact that the goop in the model’s hair looks like toothpaste. Although it does match the models’ hair from the Spring 2011 catwalk, I still have to ask…why?
